You will turn your head, stumble and will see in surprise if you’ll come across a framer being pulled by a walking robot on the road. Well, it may be flabbergasting to many but it’s something that Mr Wu Yulu’s neighbors, on the outskirts of Beijing, are used to.

Wu Yulu has acclaimed a world wide name after inventing as well as building 47 robots and this one, like many others, has been constructed in his backyard. Created almost entirely from recycled scrap metals, his robots are efficient in performing as varied as jumping, painting, drinking, massaging and of course pulling carts.

Yulu’s long perseverance has paid at the end as he’s been invited to display more than 30 of his robots during the Shanghai World Expo 2010. Yulu loves his robots more than his children and this Rickshaw Robot his 32nd son, and he’s programmed the android to declare: ‘Wu Yulu is my Dad, I take him out on the town.’ This is not all and Wu Yulu to continue surprising with his creations in the years to come.
